Fall 2011

As far as the Blog Book is concerned.... There was a small mistake (on my part) when printing the books and some of the 2011 posts didn't make it into the 2011 book, so there they are....

Cooper finally had his day in the sun!  Preschool finally started for him and he loves it!  It is hard because he only goes two days a week, so that gets a little confusing for him, but at least when he watches the kids get on the bus everyday, he has something of his own to look forward to.

Over Labor Day weekend we decided to drive up to Park City.  We had so much fun on the slides and zip lines.  My little Abby used to be SO scared of anything like this, but I guess being in third grade does something to you, because she was super brave.

 Grandma Kathy made a sudden decision to get tickets and go to Mary Poppins the musical.  So, we cancelled softball practiced that night and headed to the show.  Abby had no idea we were going until she came home from school and found an invitation on her bed along with a new dress (I had planned on giving her for her birthday).  She was in Broadway Heaven.  She loved every minute of it and just thought the whole thing was magical.  She talked about it for days after to anyone who would listen to her.

Abby is now 9!  I know I am to young to have a 9 year old!  Her and Ethan (her cousin) share the same birthday, give or take a couple of hours, so when he is in town we HAVE to get a birthday picture of our twins.

Abby had a birthday party this year, and she wanted to make flower arrangements.  Luckily, we have a very talented friend in our neighborhood who was willing to help us get it all together (thanks Paige!).  They had tons of fun, and all of the girls were so cute. They made their very own real flower arrangements (very well I  might add) and ate flower sandwiches and even went on a scavenger hunt outside. Oh! to be 9 again.. .

Abby's special friend Amanda even came, who Abby just adores to pieces.

And when your a kid, your birthday seems to last all week long, so we had to do a little more celebrating on her actually birthday.

Bo cracks me up!  He is so sweet and cuddling and so silly at the same time.  He is at the age where he is getting into everything and you really have to watch what you leave out for him to get.  For example. . . Cooper made the mistake of leaving his kids meal on the coffee table and when he came out of the bathroom, Bo had found his fries and was halfway through devouring them. Yep, grease up to his elbows, but a smile on his face!

Cooper also started his first year of playing soccer.  I forgot to take pictures until the last game (which was freezing) but you get the idea.  He was sick for a lot of the games with a never ending croup cough, but by the end of the season he was getting into it.  He even scored a goal! (and Yes, we count the ones that were in the other team's goal.)

Of course there has to be a picture of him with what I call the Borich Tongue, which he does all the time, even when cleaning his up his toys.

When the cousins are in town, its time to play!  While the Finnerty's were here, Grandma and Grandpa took all the kids to the corn maze.

Then, it was off to the pumpkin patch.  The kids get so excited and put a lot of thought into picking out their pumpkins.  Bo cracks me up with all of his funny faces.  Cooper just wants to be big so bad it hurts. Carson wants to find the perfect pumpkin to carve his U into.  Abby just loves the experience, and gets excited to pose for pictures.
