Wow!  Summer came and went so fast!  It is not actually over, but as soon as school starts, it is back to the grind.  Here are some pictures of the last part of our summer. . . Abby played this summer on the Bullets All-Star Team.  She has so much fun, and has now officially caught the bug.  She is going to be playing with the accelerated team year round, and I think she has a fabulous coach:)

 Ok, the Grundys officially went camping this summer.  Tent, camp site, fire pit, the whole thing.  Grandma Kathy's family had a mini reunion and we went camping for two nights.

 We spent a whole day at the water and Grandpa rented a paddle boat and a jet ski.  They kids spent most of their time in the mud!

 Bo just hung out in his little pop up tent and loved every minute of it.

 The kids thought it was so cool because Uncle Teri had his motorcycle and he took each of them for a ride.  They were really feeling the rebel spirit.

 The next day, we went to Boondocks for Grandpa's work party. The kids had a blast! I love free fun.

 Just to add to our new found outdoor appreciation, our family went on a hike up at Brighton.  It ended up being a little over 2 miles and the kids did great.  Even Cooper loved it and he walked most of it himself even though the pictures don't show it.  We had so much fun that night and had a lot of good talks.

 We spent the majority of our summer at Cowabunga Bay.  Grandpa Joe and Kathleen bought us season passes for Christmas and we put them to good use.  The kids love the freedom of running wild in the water park and I love sitting in the sun with my friends from the neighborhood.  We usually find someone there we know, every time we go.

 To wrap up the summer, Carson and Chad went on a boys trip of a lifetime with Grandpa Stan.  Carson played for the Marlins this year in little league so they went to Colorado to watch them play the Rookies. 
 They had so much fun, Carson got a lot of autographs and the catcher John Buck (who Chad knew from playing high school) came and talked to them.  They went to two games and Carson can't stop talking about the trip.

 They also went to see the Broncos practice.  Again, Carson got a lot of autographs and got to see the big boys in action.  Chad and Stan just kept laughing at Carson the whole trip.  He is always so funny.  He would just walk up to the big football players and say, "Hey, Dude!  Here, sign this!" and he would toss the football to them.  The players couldn't help but laugh at him.  Those big guys didn't phase him at all.

 He left a Marlins fan, and came home a Rockies fan. . . Tulo bracelet and all!

 Meanwhile, Abby started school.  Her first day of third grade was perfect.  She tries to act like she is bumbed to be starting school but she is not really fooling anybody.

 Due to Carson's trip, he missed the first two days of school, but we were right on top of it and met with the teacher before he left, so he was all ready to jump right in.  The only bad thing was that his first day was "wear yellow day" and he didn't really love that for his pictures, but I told him, he is a boy, so it is much less crucial that his pictures look good.

 The saddest thing in the whole world is watching Cooper watch Abby and Carson get on the bus each day for school.  He went and met his teacher for preschool and we bought his backpack and he even has his own pencil sharpener, so he is all ready for school, but the problem is that his preschool doesn't start until Sept. 8.  We go through the same questions every morning. . . "Mom, can I go to school today?"  "But Mom, I am ready,  I promise"  "I will be good, please just let me go."  He loves me to death, but I definitely get boring after the first couple of hours.

 Bo is just growing up too fast!  He just zooms around the house all day, it is really hard keeping up with him.  He is not what I would call a small kid.  He is thick and super strong, which makes holding him or controlling  him in an fashion nearly impossible. He stands up against anything where he can get his bearings under him, then he usually falls and it just continues all day.  But, he does have the cutest smile and he is still as happy as can be.
