Chad has been gone to New York all week for work and he finally comes home today! Yeah! I have always had respect for single mothers (and single dads), but I guess it is nice to be reminded sometimes. I propose a National Holiday for the single parents of the world. I would be all for it. I would be willing to buy presents and everything. They could even wear a sash like Ms. America and we could throw confetti on them every time they walk into a store (cause heaven know how hard that is with three kids). So, after a one week trial. . . I solute you, single parents of the world. May God bless you.

Besides Chad's obvious absence, it has been pretty busy lately with soccer games, dance and a lot of school functions. Today Abby had her big "Unusual Pet Show" in Kindergarten (photo below), then Carson had a field trip to Wheeler Farm. Since I was already carting all three of them to the farm, I decided to throw some matching shirts in my bag and take some much needed family photos. (try not to notice Carson's Space Monkey tattoo).
Abby's unusual pet named Micheal (I'm not sure why).

In other news. . .for those of you who don't know, Amy and Justin had their new baby girl two weeks ago and you can see some cute new pictures on their blog. She's darling, and I am super excited to go and see them in a couple of weeks.

My dad is home recovering from his prostate cancer surgery and doing great! He is a super tough guy, I am so proud of him and I love him tons! Everything went very well and he will be doing push ups before you know it.

Chad's parents have also been out of the scene for awhile. After visiting Justin in Vegas, they are now in Arizona for the trial and it looks like they are going to be there for quite some time. We miss them tons and the kids are going crazy! We know how important this is and we just want them to know how much we love and miss them.

Ok, so I didnt know that about your dad. Im sorry to hear about that, but glad he is doing ok. I seriously love your dad, tell him hi for me. Best of luck with the trial. Im sure it will not be a fun process. Im kind of glad we never had to go through that with Erik, even though we maybe should have. I wouldnt wish that upon anyone. Best of Luck...
Your kids are adorable, I love the pictures. Holy cow, Cooper is a little man, he is getting so big. I really need to come see you some day. I should have done it this week with Chad being away (not that I didnt want to see you Chad.)I know what you mean about single parents, I would not be so good at that.
Thanks for the comment on Tyler... I still look at the pictures, and wonder what the hell he was doing.

OK, Miss Photographer, you're hired! I LOVE the pictures, and will you take some of my kids? I need you to come organize my house first and then we'll go for a photo shoot. Is there anything you can't do????
love you!

Dido, on the single parent thing. I hate when Dan travels. Your pictures are great, is this a hobby or are you just natural good? I can't believe the trial is so close to the anniversary date. That is really hard. I miss Jamie so much, I can't believe how it still hurts.

I freaking love when you let Carson's hair grow out like that. It reminds me so much of Chad when he was little! Your kids are getting so big! We hope they don't forget us. We miss you guys, and are excited to see you soon.

Hey, Kell!
Your loss is our gain...it was awesome to see Chad on Thursday, we only wish it would've been all of you. Your pix are inspiring, I'm gonna TRY to do some of the kids in the fall foliage here, but can only hope they'll turn out 1/2 as great as yours.
Please give your dad a hug for us, since we can only talk to him
Love you guys!!

Abbys poses, she looks like a little model!

You did an excellent job on the pictures! Your kids are very photogenic! I am sorry to hear about your dad! Cancer is such a scary thing! Hope he recovers quickly, it is so hard to see family members sick! We have loved Chad coaching soccer, he is so good with the kids! Thanks!

Carson looks just like Chad did at that age, with the long hair and no teeth. I'm sure Kathy has shown you pics. Is the trial About the accident? Let me know and in the meantime we will keep the family in our prayers.
