Happy Summer! We have been keeping busy lately as I'm sure everyone else is. Our computer broke, so I finally got Chad to bring home a laptop from work (Shh..) Our computer is on order and should be here any day :)

A couple of weeks ago, we took a trip to St. George. Chad was doing a training in Cedar City for one day, so we turned it into a week long family vacation. I love to have a reason to go somewhere.

Chad's parents came down for most of the time and brought Kaitlyn and Ethan, so the kids were in heaven.
We went hiking at the narrows. The kids had so much fun. Carson was convinced he had discovered dinosaur tracks all over the mountain.
We also went to the park. (I was up for any FREE activities)

I didn't take any pictures, but we also took the kids to the St. George Temple and the kids went through the visitors center and walked around the grounds. It was actually really fun for them.

Cooper was so funny at the park. I guess he feels pretty sheltered, because he made the funniest faces the whole time. He looked scared of everything. He actually had fun, but it was funny watching him figure everything out.
And of course... the ice cream man stopped by.

Justin and Amy drove up from Vegas for the day and we were able to spend a little more time with them. We spent most of the day at the pool and best of all playing with baby Kamryn. (Look at those legs! Yummy!)

Carson played with Ethan the whole time, and just before we were about to go in, our friends from home showed up at the pool with Rhett, one of Carson's best buddies.
The funniest part was that once we got to St.George (which Carson calls the desert) he just kept talking about lizards and he was sure that we would see a ton of them. We went on a walk and saw a few small ones (which made his day). But, while we were sitting at the pool, he just started yelling and we looked up and saw the biggest lizard ever. Well, I don't know about ever, but it was one of the biggest that I'VE ever seen. (the picture doesn't do it justice)

In other news. . .my brother Joe and his family are in town for awhile, and we were able to see them and their new baby Josh (precious!). They also happened to be here the day of Abby's school carnival, so we hit it full on. The kids had a great time running from thing to thing.
Ok, Another thing that has been keeping us busy is these STUPID LITTLE BUGS!!! in my house! We have had them here and there over the years, but nothing notable. This year, I think we had an infestation. I'm not sure what the problem was, but things like this always seem to happen to me whenever Chad is out of town (seeing that it is in his department). He was gone for a week and they came out of hiding. They are super tiny, but they seemed to be everywhere. I couldn't vacuum them up fast enough. They have literally been driving me crazy! We researched them on-line and found out that they are called Springtails. I don't even care. . .I HATE them! But don't worry. . .after some failed attempts of our own, we finally called in the professionals and they have now been taken care of. I am sleeping soundly again, and life seems so much better. Here is a picture I found of the little devils, but it must have been magnified 100 times, because they are extremely small and don't really look like that (this makes me even more freaked out. YUCK)

And the picture doesn't do the lizard justice-it was at least 1 to 2 feet long!
