IT'S HERE!! I am so excited that our computer is finally here and up and running. We have been pretty busy, so be prepared for a lot of pictures.
First of all, our niece and nephews were in town and everyone knows that means Grandma has a lot of fun things planned. We started with the Dinosaur park in Ogden.

The kids were all so funny. Cooper's favorite part was when a whole bunch of baby somethings were suddenly walking all around us. We think they could be quails but nobody was sure (even the park people, who eventually called in animal experts to come help the lost babies)

Next was the waterpark . . . which was surprisingly super fun.
Again, Cooper was the life of the party. He was making everyone laugh when he would run and cover his mouth as the big bucket splashed everyone.
Of course we hit the parks.

And even a park with a beach.
Obviously Cooper is not accustom to beach life. It took me twenty minutes to even get him to put his feet on the sand. I finally got him to sit and play, but he just made weird faces the whole time.
Next was the big parade! We were totally prepared in matching outfits and all.

After the parade, it was time for fireworks.

Up next. . . Stadium of Fire!

It was actually really fun! The Jonas Brothers are growing on me. Everyone really loved it. (except maybe for the girl behind us with her hands on her ears)

Abby was in 6 year old, little girl heaven! They found a group of high school girls who were screaming and dancing the whole time, and they immediately formed a bond.

Then, fast forward to this last weekend where we went with aunt Tonya's family to Bear Lake. I love that place. The kids always have so much fun and it is a nice place to get away.
Seeing that we are not huge camping people, our kids just soaked up everything about outdoor life. They talked for a week before about their plans to roast marshmallows.
We rented these fun little bikes and went for a bike ride through the town.
We also got a banana bike which is not nearly as easy as it looks. You have to steer with your feet. Apparently, I am more of a HAND- eye coordination type of person, as I barely missed a brick wall and a couple of other small obstacles.


Slushies were a MUST after all of our hard work.

At one point we were really hot, so they made a mini water park on the grass. Which worked well as a bath for Cooper. . . if you could only see the close up of his face after the long day.
Then it was BEACH DAY!
Cooper is finally getting the hang of beach life, although he didn't really want to touch the water, just make more mess.

Abby and Carson had a blast. Abby spent her time making castles and relaxing on the raft. Carson ran around and made friends with all kinds of strangers, as usual.

Cooper was exhausted most of the time, he wasn't a big fan of "tent sleeping", but hey it's the experience that matters.
