Merry, Merry Christmas!! We are so excited for the holidays around here. We have all the decorations up, new ornaments have been picked out, Santa letters have been written, the movies have been playing for weeks, Carson already has the Kids Bop Christmas CD memorized, we've seen the lights at temple square, done all of our shopping (including our angel), presents are wrapped and under the tree, Christmas books are being read, 4 different countdown calenders are being done nightly, but when, oh when will Christmas finally come? Hopefully with all of the Christmas parties and other activities, it will go by fast and Santa will be here before we know it.

We had a great Thanksgiving. We were lucky to have the whole Grundy family over to our house, it is so nice having such a close extended family. And yes, I hit the stores early Friday morning, well actually only two, but on black Friday, that is an all day event.Abby lost her two front teeth in a three day period. She was so excited to finally have them out because they had been bugging her. Once the first one came out, it was only a matter of time until the next one did, but she wouldn't let us touch it this time. So while playing around with her dad, he flipped her over his head and knocked it out with his elbow and it went flying across the room. I guess that's one way to do it. Needless to say, I now have all three kids who could honestly sing "All I want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" It's kinda our motto this year.
Here is a picture of baby Kamryn and Cooper on Thanksgiving in their matching turkey jammies (thanks to grandma). Kamryn is probably a little overwhelmed by the whole thing, as you can see. . .she thinks we're crazy!
We made it to see Santa. The kids were so excited and Carson told Santa "You can bring me whatever you want to", to which Santa replied "I'm gonna surprise you then". And that has made things a little easier for me.
So, with 11 more days until Christmas (trust me, we know), we are truly enjoying the holiday season. We pray that through all of the Santa insanity, we all take time to remember our Savior and the true meaning of Christmas. I love this time of year, mostly because it forces me to think of all of the blessing in my life. The Lord has blessed me with an outstanding husband, wonderful kids, a supportive family, truly amazing friends, and a testimony of His birth, His life and His sacrifice. We hope you have a great Holiday!

I love that they both dont have their 2 front teeth, that's so funny... Im glad your all ready for Christmas. Those pictures of the kids with Santa are so cute. Not to mention that Santa is for real, that is no Santa off the street where did you find him? I cant believe how big Cooper is getting, I really need to meet that little guy.
I hope you all have a good Christmas. Thanks for the comment. I know the Holidays are probably a little hard for you as well without your Mom around, but I'm sure you also find some comfort knowing you will see her again. You have an amazing family, and I hope to see you guys soon.

Oh I love the pic of your two kids and their missing front teeth. So classic. We will remember the toothless Christmas for many years to come. Although, Carson will probably have a few more of them...
Kamryn looks like such a cute little boy in that picture:) Cooper and his buddy. I'm glad you guys are keeping many countdowns. Christmas is almost here. We miss you guys! Love you!

As usually you are awesome and enthusiastic! I love reading your blog! I can almost "hear" you. I love your zest for life. Your kids are awesome and adorable, they are really lucky to have you. Daniel finally had his front tooth pulled because none of them had come out yet! He'll be 7 in March. Allison has three teeth which she uses to bite things with. Luckily she hasn't tried to bite any of us yet. Keep posting. I loved seeing Amy's baby as well.
