Abby finally went to her first day of Kindergarten. I thought this day would never come and we were both so excited. She has been talking about going to "real school" ever since she could talk, and I think the day held up to her expectations.
This is her "Mom that's enough pictures" pose, as I was talking pictures of her at the bus stop and totally embarrassing her.
So, the craziest part of the day was about half way through, when the school called the house (which is never a good sign). When I answered, someone said "Hi, this is Abigail's teacher" (which is
definitely not a good sign). She was calling to let me know that Abby had been stung by a bee. So, at her first official recess, she was stung
on the thumb by a mean bee! The teacher let me talk to her and with a fresh
band aide, she was as good as new.
Her favorite part was riding on the bus. Oh, and of course the chocolate "ding dong" that her teacher gave her at the end of the day.
She made me take a picture of her again today, because she was so excited that she was going to wear two skirts in a row!

Your life has just changed. For some reason I felt like our family life had changed completely when Daniel went to kindergarten. You lose a bit of freedom and you suddenly feel like a "real" mom. It's wierd but once you have to talk to a teacher about your child - it qualifies you for bein g a grown up mommy or something. I'm glad she had great first day! Thanks for sharing.
Kelly Abby is sooooo stinkin cute. She just cracks me up, she just has so much peronality.
Stung by a BEE! That dumb bee needs to leave my Abby alone on her first day of Kindergarten! How big is she, and I totally agree with 'just ducky', how big are YOU! Good Job grown up Mommy! Good Job Abby!

Oh Kelly, it looks as if your's and Colby's secret love child is all grown up. Father Colby must be proud!
And the video below of Cooper...I couldn't tell at first if it was Cooper or Chad talking :) They sound an awful lot alike.

Holy cow! She cannot be in Kindergarten! It's just not fair. She is way too big! She looks so giddy to be going to school. I can't believe she got stung by a bee. That will be a funny story to tell the rest of her life.
I also love the videos of your kids... but why did Carson get the video shaft?:) I know he has done something cute lately... Abby was doing very well on that bike and Chad was doing very well keeping up with her. And Cooper doesn't even look like the same baby. Those bubble noises are so funny. Bust out the bibs Kelly... that's what they are for!
We miss you guys tons! Tell your kids to stop getting big.
